Mmmmm... Steak

What do you love more than a perfectly cooked steak, washed down with a beautiful glass of red wine? Can't think of anything? Well, you are guaranteed a perfectly cooked steak in this tiny French Steakhouse, for less than €20 in Dublin City Centre which is a rare thing to find (no pun intended).

This place is simply fantastic. It's small, and it's cosy, the kitchen is in the dining area, which is just great to watch how three chefs pull off such excellent cooking in such a tiny space. There is an outside area that is well heated and closed off where you can watch the revellers of Dublin city stroll past.

An Awesome little steak house that does what it says on the tin.

The relaxed atmosphere, amicable and helpful staff always, bring your experience in any restaurant up a notch. The team here cannot do enough for you, even when they are ridiculously busy.

Advanced booking here is essential as its located on South William Street, which is a trendy street for diners and drinkers, and because of this, they will most likely turn you away on a Friday or Saturday evening because might be entirely booked.

With a straightforward menu where you can choose starters you like chicken wings, garlic bread, to Duck pate with prices around €7 to €8.

Next to the steak, with the most reasonable being a 10oz rump at €15 which is not a bad price at all up to an €18 7oz Filet Mignon.

A two person tasting plate provides you with cut's from every steak on the list to compare and costs €40.

Of course, there are extra's and sides which Boeuf label as "enhancements" that are delicious.

We're talking topping's for your steak, like prawns, egg, chorizo, mushrooms, all cooked to perfection. You can add crusts to your steak to enhance the flavour like blue cheese with crispy bacon or English mustard.

The sides to go with your steak range from, mashed potato variation, fries, potato gratin, to salads. My personal favourite is the parmesan cheese and truffle fries.

And that's all you get here. There is no chicken, pork, Duck or all the usual options. Beouf is purely a steakhouse, and they wish to honour and respect that. It's excellently prepared and executed, it's gratifying, and you will depart with your cravings for meat satisfied.

You can visit Boeuf's website here.

And you can find Boeuf on South William's Street here.
