If you're looking for a new comedy club to visit in Dublin this weekend, then Chaplins Comedy Club has just what you need! When we Irish think of a good comedy club, the usual venues come to mind. But one smaller, more intimate setting is Chaplin's Comedy Club.

Across the River Liffey from its big brother The Laughter Lounge, you won't discover a more engaging and enjoyable comedy night this weekend in Ireland. Chaplin's comedy club is on the first floor of Chaplin's bar on Hawkins Street and was set up in 2015 by the makers of The Capitol Comedy Club in Temple Bar.

The pub fills out before the show with people looking for their fix of LOLs around 8 pm, so you get a few pints in before the show begins at 9 pm. The staff will come down and tell everyone when the show is starting so you don't need to worry about missing anything.

The show is 2 hours long with intermissions between acts so you can grab another beer downstairs and bring it back up for the next act. You may spot a few well-known comedians testing their new material, along with new up and coming comics making their mark on the Irish comedy scene.

It always has a friendly, supportive atmosphere and in many cases, an interactive crowd which can enhance the evening. The comedians are known to head for a pint after the gig with the audience, keeping them laughing long into the night.
