P. Macs Bar on Stephen Street is a little gem filled with character and serves a vast range of beers from all over the world!

About P. Macs

P.Mac's opened in 2013, replacing Bia Bar, and it quickly became one of the most popular bars in the Stephens Green area. It has sister pubs like the award-winning Blackbird in Rathmines and Cassidy's on Westmoreland Street. These other bars have a similar offering and style and attract a more rocker/hipster clientele.

When you enter the bar, you will notice the large quirky tables and chairs, with large candles in the middle of each table that have the same the old wax from previous candles adding to its quirkiness. Just like other classic bars of Dublin, P. Macs still has private snugs in the bar, so if you prefer not to be disturbed, you can hide out in a secluded area.

They have a large selection of board games to choose from in P. Macs to add to your entertainment. You can enjoy games like Scrabble or Jenga along with some less well-known games. They also have some retro arcade machines and fruit machines.

Bonus

The staff are more than happy to let you have a taste of any of their draft beers before you buy.

The staff in P.Mac's are amicable and courteous and will go out of their way to assist you in your beer or cocktail selections as you may get overwhelmed with the choices available.

They play an excellent selection of classic rock and indie music all day, and the volume gets jacked up in the evening so you can dance away to your heart's content.

They have a modest selection of pub grub served during the day like pizza, burgers, nachos etc. Sometimes, if you're lucky and lovely staff are feeling generous, you might find some free snacks like monster much or wagon-wheels left on your table free of charge.

P.Macs is a fine little establishment in Dublin that is perfect for meeting friends at the weekend for a daytime beer or an evening meet-up.
