What's even better is that the Shelbourne Park Greyhound stadium offers tailored packages for Stag & Hen parties to make an excellent start to the wedding festivities.
Have dinner with a drink at your own table overlooking the track with a tote and bar service for your group for €41.50. If your group is over 10 people, the Stag or Hen goes free, and everyone in the group gets a €2 bet voucher, and a free T-shirt to remember the night.
They also have a complimentary shuttle service that leaves the city centre at 7 pm and will bring you back to the city at 10.45pm. This takes the pressure off organising taxies for your group.
The first race begins between 7.40 pm and 8 pm so you can enjoy a meal while placing bets, have a great time before the madness of Dublin city nightlife begins.
10% of your bill will be donated to the Greyhound care fund as they love and respect their animals and want to ensure they are treated fairly and ethically.
For the races, you will be provided with a booklet for each race. This booklet shows each greyhound's previous form so you can try to make the right decision on which dog you will throw your hard-earned cash at.
