A slice of India in Co. Wicklow

Indian sculptures are scattered around this meditation park to allow adults to tune out of the hustle and bustle of daily life to experience a serene and relaxing experience.

Victors Way Indian Sculpture Park is located in Roundwood, close to Sally Gap, which is a beautiful part of Ireland, so you are guaranteed a scenic experience.

Created over 25 years, Victors Way Indian Sculpture Park allows adults to absorb the peacefulness of nature and discover forest bathing. A practice where you lay and immerse yourself in the holistic surroundings of the forest.

Set over 20 acres of land with a two-kilometre path of contemplation where slow walking is encouraged, there are beautiful ponds scattered along the walk.

The park has seven massive Indian sculptures the represent the seven developmental stages of life along with 37 smaller black granite sculptures.

Each sculpture was designed in Roundwood, although the crafting of each sculpture was made in Mahabalipuram in South India.

Victors Way Indian Sculpture Park is a place for meditation. Teenagers, children, and animals are discouraged as they want to create a quiet and tranquil atmosphere, but that does not mean they cannot go.

You are allowed to take photos of the park, but the use of mobile phones is prohibited. Sure isn't that a good thing to switch off every now and then?

If you would like to try forest bathing, they have "The Roundwood Forest Recliner" which is like a wooden recliner that lifts your feet and head. This allows you to flood your brain with oxygen while enjoying the tranquillity of the trees and birds.

It is a very relaxing experience, although not for everyone it is definitely worth experiencing and at least taking time out to enjoy a little peace.
