Fort Lucan, the perfect family day out!
Fort Lucan is an outdoor adventure centre for children aged between 2 and 12 years old. It has a massive playground for children to explore along with water slides, crazy golf, and a few other attractions. Over 50,000 kids visit Fort Lucan every year seeking fun and adventure...

When it was first built in 1993 it only had a capacity for 200 people. Since then it has grown to cater to over 600 people at any given time.
Before Fort Lucan was constructed, it was a family farm for many generations. The owner of the farm, John Martin Smith, was looking at ideas to diversify farming. He visited a deer farm in Scotland, which had an adventure centre on its lands. When he came back to Ireland he began exploring how it might work on his farm. Taking the security and safety of children into account, he thought that high walls were needed, sort of like a fort, and from such that Fort Lucan was born.
Fort Lucan has tons of activities on offer to keep your children entertained. When you purchase a wristband for your child, they have full access to all activities for as many turns as they wish!

The cost of the wristband is €18, and this gives them full access for the entire day.
The cost of entry for Adults is €5, and this gives you a FREE cup of tea or coffee in the cafe.
Children under 2 years old enter for free.
At Fort Lucan, your kids can play crazy golf, they have go-karts to race their friends, along with a few water slides called "The Waterfall", and "The Raging River" (but don't worry, you don't need swimsuits).

Price: Wristband pass: €18, a Day pass (restricted access) €12.50, Adult entry €5 (with a tea or coffee included.
