Retail Therapy and Trampolining At Jump-Zone

A giant room full of trampolines!

How could this not be one of the most fun things for kids and adults to do at the weekend!

Jump-Zone Liffey Valley is the best fun family day out! Best of all (for the adults) you are going to burn a lot of calories while having quality time with the kids! It's located inside Liffey Valley Shopping Centre itself so its the perfect place to get some calories burned and a little retail therapy.

A few critical bits of information first; before you go to Jump-Zone, you must book your place online. It is a requirement that you fill out a disclaimer for every person young and old before the staff will allow you onto the trampolines. Before you enter, you will be required to watch a short safety video also.

Once you finish the safety video, you are free to go crazy and act like a big kid! There is a huge floor space with loads of individual trampolines to choose from, as well as some along the walls in case bouncing off the ground is not enjoyable enough.

Jump-Zone consists of challenging assault courses, with different hurdles to get from one side to the other like trapezes and rings to swing from. These are a lot of fun and a great way to test your strength and agility.

For the little warriors in your life, they have a balance beam where you can go head to head with the family to see who has the best balance. You do this while also trying to hit your opponent with a foamy club-like Gladiators the TV Show. You win by making them fall into a foam pit!

Somersaults and tumbles are strictly allowed and encouraged in the massive foam sponge pit. There are trampolines on the edge so you can get enormous air time and land safely in a hole full of foam sponges.

Jump-Zone Liffey Valley caters to children's birthday parties, and as part of the price, they have private rooms for the kids. After a day of jumping, they can sit down, relax and have a slice of pizza and re-hydrate.

Another great area they have for the smaller kids is a safe adventure zone. Everything is enclosed, so this assault course for tinier humans is secure, and they can enjoy the day out as much as the older kids.

If you don't want to jump with your kids, they have a cafe with an ample seating area where you can take a load off. Let the kids burn off all their excess energy but we recommend jumping with them as its so much fun.

Jump-Zone also offers regular adult fitness classes on their trampolines, which you can find the schedule for on their website. Another fantastic way to keep fit in an energetic and fun place.

Along with adult classes, they offer a fantastic initiative for children with sensory issues where they can come along and enjoy Jump Zone in a calmer setting without the craziness of the typical experience.

Price: Various prices depending on times, Jump-Zone socks are required at €2 per pair of socks.

Peak times of Friday to Sunday for 60 minutes is €13 pp (including socks) €11 pp if you already have socks.

€17 with socks for 90 minutes, €15 for 90 minutes if you already have socks.

Off-peak, Tuesday to Thursdays is €1 off each of the prices above.

Tips: Make sure you and the kids drink plenty of water as you get dehydrated quickly. Bring your Jump-Zone socks home with you to save you buying them again on your next visit!
